Heroes

Students dressed up like the heroes in the Bible they were studying. The highlights had to be when "Sarah" walked in pregnant, and when we were informed by one second grader that it was believed Mary Magdalene was a prostitute.

Top Model

We threw the volleyball to Mandy and instructed her to "model through" as she passed it back to us. It's a common concept Tyra practices with all of her top models. Mandy went for it and totally nailed it!

Mambo #5

I have high hopes that this song will finally be out of my head after tonight! Cambridge held a fundraiser called "Dancing with the Cambridge Stars" My class and I did a jazz routine. It was definitely a hit. At one point I had a solo. I was so caught up in the moment of stardom that I totally forgot the next dance move! I am fairly certain that my dance career has just begun.

We have been waiting for this our whole lives...or atleast the past 8 months.

The family of spiders that now resides in my car after stuffing all three pieces in my car for the trip from Michigan are a small price to pay.

$2800

This is the purse...
that was holding the wallet
that was hanging on the chair...
that I was sitting in at Panera.

This is the purse...
that the wallet was taken from..
that was hanging on the chair...
that I was sitting in at Panera.

$2800 is the amount the thiefs charged at Macy's within the hour it took me to realize my wallet was gone.

Starved Rock

Practice hike before the Grand Canyon. We were the only ones on the trails with backpacks and matching boots. Everyone else thought we were sweet. They didn't know all we had stuffed in them were pillows...

Bring on the Grand Canyon.

Easter Egg Hunt

Grandma Koppenhofer has the best Easter Egg Hunts. Each plastic egg has money in it. The older kids shake each egg when they are hunting to find the ones with dollar bills. The younger kids get the rejects:)
